MISS SCARLETT – I’m “Miss Scarlett” & I’m a true, shy Southern Belle! I had
been on my own- foraging for food - as a stray when they finally picked me up, so my diet was very unappetizing & rather disgusting at times. But now I’m getting
really good grub, my coat is shiny, my eyes are bright & I’m looking for a forever
home where I will be loved (& spoiled), walked & fed & never have to
live alone on the streets again!! I’m wonderful in my crate, love lounging on dog
beds & chewing on Nylabones -& even though I had probably NEVER been walked
before I’m doing really well with my doggy walks 3 times a week. I’m definitely
still on the shy side, but loved to be petted & brushed, I’m not QUITE confident
enough to
give you kisses just yet. My new family will need to have patience with
me until I realize I’m not getting thrown on the streets again. I have NEVER shown
any aggressive tendencies, but would probably do best in a quieter home with not
a lot of noise & activity. I’m truly a wonderful gal, my foster mom treasures
every time I lean on her or some gestures of affectionate playfulness….but then
SHE thinks I’m a “treasure” anyway!! |
